As we continue to get more and more orders, the manger is adamant about not opening a third spot break until all of the other spot breaks reach their maximum capacity of 2:00 or 4 elements. This Friday we got really close to that.
Will the spot log give me a warning if there are too many spots to fit in the allotted breaks?
ANSWER:
You can leave that third 0:00 max break as it is then for any spot that doesn’t schedule completely click on the active order item, click on the red ! to show spot violations and then double-click on any break in the list where you want to force the spot in. Specifically, you can manually force it into the zero length break.
Another method that works automatically is to give that third break a standard length but set its Fill priority to 5. You will need to first set the Fill priority of the existing breaks to 1. This can be done as a mass change.
